Thumbs up Beautiful Driving Gloves

Gentlemen, if you are looking for quality driving gloves.....these are it. Nappa Lamb Leather Italian Made. They've even used the F-Type as a model.

Driving gloves made good sense when driving around in a drop-top with a skinny mahogany steering wheel. Now with leather covered, padded and heated steering wheels, there’s not much more than a styling statement to be had. In my case, Kirkland jeans/moth eaten t-shirt and driving gloves: non sequitur.
Besides, in my neck of the woods you’d get beaten up for wearing them. Lol

Please don’t let me discourage you. I’m sure in Southern California it’s the thing.

I think wearing the yellow pair might be asking for a beat down.

I am sure it is already a part of metrosexual hipster culture.

It is funny that they didn't shoot a manual transmission for the bygone era ;-)

Even there, the need is gone...padded leather knob. But drat, it’s not a heated knob. On second thought....naaah, not worth the beat down.

Rather pathetic that someone would want to beat up a person for wearing yellow gloves

My guess is that would be the norm in the land of "Good Fences Make Good Neighbors."

I'll bite. Someone send me a pair of any color except mustard yellow and let's see if Trump beats me up.

I've seen reports that he thinks exercise makes you die sooner, so I don't expect he'd throw much of a punch, or take one either.

Trump loves McDonalds burgers, so mustard yellow might be one of his favorite colors. It's not that far off from his hair color.

There was a guy on a firearms forum that always wore gloves when showing his latest purchase. People were calling them rapist gloves. Poor guy, but damn. He even admitted later to believing the term was funny.

If it is over 40 degrees and you are wearing gloves you are probably up to no good.

Unhinged - your wit and humor never ceases to amaze, really.

my hands sweat a lot and get slippery on my steering wheel, thus a pair of gloves would be good for me. these are nice looking but not in yellow or green. damn

Oooh, I want the orange ones. They ought to be a nice match for the upholstery stitching and body paint. Sadly, I'm pretty sure that unlike another orange person already mentioned, my hands will be too large for the remaining size. No gloves for me :-(

I'd get my wife a pair, all the better to grip the "oh sh*t" handles...

Yes, can we escape politics??

I can watch cable news if I want to hear sniveling babies turn everything into a trump or hillary joke. Not everything is political. Every day it's been polarizing bullshit about pedal boosters, and comparing dick size based on which tune you choose to flash.

I'll head over to the hyundai forum for a bit.

Points been made on politics thanks. On the gloves, I have a pair of lambskin gloves I use on the track and when I'm driving hard because my hands get sweaty. I don't think I need them but I feel more in control with them. I've had them since my first XKE back in the mid '70s so think they are more dried sweat than lambskin now. Oh and they protect my knuckles so if someone wants to try to beat me up... Seriously, if you've never tried driving gloves a good pair on a long drive, or particularly through the twisties, are just a nice touch of luxury. But you wouldn't catch me dead in bright colors, don't want that kind of attention.
