It's the time of year many of you have been waiting for. Our Black Friday Sale is ON, and runs for a few more days. Time to snap up some deals, we only do this once a year
just ordered upper pulley do u supply new file and belt ??
Changing the upper pulley does not require changing the belt. We will supply you with a new file free of charge, you will need to complete a file submission form on our website just like you did when we tuned your vehicle the first time, but you will reference your order number for the upper pulley instead.
So so jealous of you all as I want to do this , what cost you guys$1800cad ($2000 aud)is almost $3400 here in Australia . That’s a 70% mark up just to get it here down under!!!. That’s just too unpalatable for me. This upgrade will have to live in my dreams

Hello Borbor. There should not be any major discrepancies in price. Obviously a distributor has to price to allow some consistency with varying exchange rates, and there are shipping costs, duties etc. that would be applicable on import, regardless of who imports it but we have been through pricing checks with our distributor there and it's normally within 10%, taking everything into account. Have you contacted them to confirm the sale pricing?
Hi Stuart. I haven”t contacted them as it is in their website and figured no point as they are not going to slash $1300 of the price just because I asked. It’s actually over $3600 for lower pulley, belt ,flash tool package without the discount. Not fair to your business either but I guess that’s life. A markup of 5-10% is fair , anything more and someone is just being greedy.

I think you should contact them. I don't think they have the sale pricing advertised on their website by the sound if it. On that basis I would expect that you'd pay around $2550 AUD which would include shipping, import duties, taxes & brokerage. It's an expensive shipping route
Looking forward to receiving the dual pulleys, the TCU and ECU tunes and tuners tomorrow. I may ask to do the ECU/TCU tunes with no pulleys at first. I just do not have time to install them right now.

With the ECU tune, if you decide to go "tune only" to start with (ie no pulley(s)), make sure you install the correct "tune only" tune and not either of the "with pulley(s)" tunes as they are all different tunes and you will have problems if you install the wrong one.

To clarify, the tune goes with the lower pulley correct? I had posted above it was the upper pulley but now believe it is the lower pulley that gets swapped typically with the tune. Is there a video of the install of the lower pulley?

Generally speaking, if you're doing only one pulley the crank (lower) pulley provides more benefit and is easier to install. It's a direct bolt-on part, pretty simple for a good technician to complete.

Never poked around under the hood aside from changing the oil. Is the crank pulley visible without removing anything?

I asked about this in a different thread and received no reply (EDIT: I just realised this is a 2022 sale thread - comments still apply). Scuderia Autoart are 20-30% above your website RRP, only list maybe five or six items ALL of which are on "backorder," and they don't reply to emails.
According to the VAP website a 3.0L pulley and tune is US$1454.25 right now or AU$2212.60, while Scuderia Autoart list it at $3529. Even if they apply a 25% discount that's still $2646.75 or a 20% hike.

I swapped out the crank pulley from up top. Here’s my old post, followed by my findings on having different belt lengths on hand at time of install a few posts down.

Thanks - so you have to remove some of the intake plumbing to get access right?
