Building & pricing for 2020 F type R vert online at Jag's website shows that standard Metallic British Racing Green (BRG) is $0 option, while BRG #5 option costs $4900, Satin Matte Finish is another $3600, for $8500 total.

I think my current 2017 no extra charge metallic BRG is beautiful already, so Does anyone know why BRG #5 costs that much more? & what is Satin Matte Finish like?

Not sure why the extra cost. Satin matte looks better than matte IMO because matte can look a bit industrial, like someone has given it a whack with a spray can of undercoat, whereas the satin matte still reflects. I wouldn't have either because they are too fussy to look after. Ultimately I wouldnt want to be stressed every time my car got some dirt on it.

The $4900 and up paint is Special Vehicle operations paint. One of forum members here posted what I believe was the BRG no. 5. To my recollection the color was stunning.

I tried searching the forum under SVO BRG and a bunch of threads came up, one with a clipped image of a BRG that could be the BRG no. 5 but not conclusive in the thread. One of the members I am sure has one with the special BRG. Not sure how to find it. Need a more intensive search.

 

This is the thread where I thought the SVO BRG was posted by FeralSVR. It doesn't indicate that it is BRG no. 5 though. You could reach out to Feral in a PM and see what he nows. His car is stunning though.

mine was $3200 on the invoice a few years ago for BRG.
