Buyers' Advice- 2015 F-type R (CCB)
Hello all
I'm new to the forum and am considering a 2015 F-type R with CC brakes. I have a couple questions about life of the CCB. I've never had a car with them, and am aware of their often astronomical costs of rotors/disks/pads.
I've attached the link of the listing below - there's no close ups of the brakes, states its done 54k miles.

The only bit of investigating I've done:
Run the private plate pictured and a 2023 F-pace SVR came up - could mean it was owned by someone more mature in age, seeing as they had the financial means of getting an F-pace SVR as well as a maturity to get that over a BMW M/ Audi RS SUV? To me, he knows his cars. I could just be clutching at straws here but hey 🤷♂️
I love the colour combo, as well as the spec being exactly what I want. but, it would be a deciding factor if there were signs of the brakes packing up and needing replacing as I'm not prepared to spend that much just for the brakes.
I'd appreciate any feedback and advice on this listing before going to see it. I would also ask them certain things that are 'known' to go wrong such as exhaust valves getting stuck, central air vents and door handles popping out smooth, differential oil seal leaking, rusted sub frames. Please let me know if I need to add anything to the checklist, as I can ask the dealer for photos/videos of them.

Along its servicing life it has visited jaguar in 2016 @ 15,156 miles, 2018 @ 20,701 miles, 2019 @ 26,324 miles, 2020 @ 31,078 miles, 2021 @ 38,180 miles with spark plugs, brake fluid and transfer case fluid, 2023 @ 50,772 miles
What do you reckon?
You can read up about CC brakes here on this forum, but buyer beware. They are incredibly expensive to replace and there are no good cheap alternatives. For street use, they don't provide much performance advantage either.

Appreciate the input.
I guess I'm concerned about knowing the life left on the brakes. The dealer is some 120miles away from me, and I don't know how they'd let me take the car away, get it inspected then bring it back? Is there a way I can contact my local JLR dealer and ask if they have any online records of it etc.?
