If I can only have 1 car but like to sit higher.... does the F-Pace SVR drive and handle like a F-Type R ?

I'm gonna guess no.

The OP is asking us to guess what "drive like" means. Does it mean cornering, acceleration, braking, ride, etc.

I havent driven one, but when they launched back to back in '19 against the 2020 XE, a reviewer commented that the handling of the F Pace SVR suffered by comparison, you cant beat gravity. Now the 2020 XE does handle fantastically for a sedan (actually I thought the '15 XE was better), possibly best in a fairly good class, but not quite as well as the F Type, so it follows that the F Pace is going to be a distant third. That said, most drivers would barely notice unless you were really attacking roundabouts or hairpins which are the F Types meat, and they do seem to go pretty well as a ring taxi...

The answer is NO. One is a sports car, the other is an SUV. As we have both in the family (and both in BRG with Brogue leather) and I drive both, I can say with no fear of contradiction that they provide entirely different experiences; the F-Pace is a great SUV, but it is not anywhere near the F-Type in performance, handling or excitement.

“BRG with Brogue”

Unbeatable combo.

That would make the car upside down, driver sits on the right down there.

Having followed both around a race track recently, I don't think you will be too disappointed.

I own both in the "S" config and have driven the SVR's. Both are beautiful and nice performers for what they are. But, there's no direct comparison. The F-Pace comes closest in straight-line acceleration, but the extra weight costs it about .5 sec on a 0-60. And, the transmissions must be tuned differently because the F-Pace isn't as snappy. Braking, again, suffers for the extra weight. But, handling/cornering are the areas that really don't begin to compare. I could never have run down a Lambo on the Tail of the Dragon in the F-Pace. I keep the F-Type for fun -- the F-Pace for function (in an attractive package).

I took my F-Type in for service a few years ago and got an F-Pace as a loaner. I dubbed it "The Jaggernaut." No, it was not an SVR, but other than straight line acceleration I didn't find much to compare. It was bigger, less responsive to steering input, and generally squishier. It did have better infotainment, but that's low on my priority list.

No. No CROSSOVER drives like a sports car; BUT, if can only get one, get a Range Rover Sport SVR.
