Buying Refurbished Supercharger

Buying Refurbished Supercharger
So, just got the news from the garage that I didn't want, they have replaced my snout on my supercharger with a new one, and it is still noisy, suspected damaged internals.....
So, looks like a 'New' one, which for me means a refurb/rebuild as I am no longer under warranty and $3700 for a new one is a bit steep.........
That's where you guys come in.. First, I want to make absolutely sure I get the right one, and second, I could really do with some recommendations as to the best place to get one. Either in the USA, or UK. I am off to the UK end of this month and the Missus is going to the States later this month.....
Base 3.0, 2014 Convertible....

You might also search the internet to find a new one at a better price than from your local dealer. The part number you need is AJ813867. Here in the US, they appear to be available for around $3150, but that won't include the shipping cost.

Go on a real computer and you will see everything I’ve done in my signature block. Additionally, I have a custom built Billet flywheel and competition clutch sitting in inventory waiting for the current OEM clutch to burn up.

I would ask some questions about the service technician and what checks they carried out, particularly if it's out of warranty and you're paying for parts and labour
You seem to imply that they have removed and replaced supercharger snout and then found problems with the supercharger, no doubt charging you for a snout and labour to fit.
The TSB for noisy supercharger explains what test to carry out to determine whether the solution is to replace the snout or the entire supercharger, thus suggests to me a replace and assume this will fix it rather than follow procedure.
Will attach appropriate TSB when I find it. (Originally obtained of the forum)

To be fair, the previous 'ticking' from the SC has gone, so the snout needed to be changed, but it looks like it might have been masking the knocking..
Word of warning for anybody that runs without SC belt on though, got halfway home and my dash lit up like a Christmas tree, many alerts!! It didn't like it at all, had to go back again and plug in the computer and reset everything....
