I think we need a forum sticky just for irritating noises and their fixes.

I've got that buzzing sound also. I only started noticing it when I removed the rubber sealing strip where the hood meets the cowl.

Thanks guys, will be visiting my dealer in a couple of days.

Will keep everyone posted, hopefully it's just the AC line as Unhingd suggested

I have this same issue. I thought it was loose U latches on the hood, tightened those but it still exists... please keep us updated.

In my instance, it really does sound like a normal part of the supercharger or engine. Just couldn't hear it before I removed the weatherstrip.

The nuts on the u loops are adjusting nuts and work counterintuitively. Tightening them actually allows more slack at the latch. Backing off on the nut will will give you a tighter fitting hood.

Took the mechanic at my dealer for a drive today to show him this. He says it's normal and not to worry.

My timing chains were replaced a year ago (when one of my injectors failed) so he's assured me that's not the issue. I guess that since a few of us experience this, it's probably nothing to fret about...
