So I've seen about five F-Types in LA so far in the last few months.


1. Driven by a youngish nerdy looking guy. He looked like a video game developer or something. Definitely hurt the brand.
2. Driven by a cool looking young dude.
3. Driven by a chubby slob middle-aged neckbeard type.
4. Driven by some unstylish old guy.
5. And then today I saw a celebrity's (that young latino guy from Desperate Housewives I forget his name)


That's like a 40% cool rate (33% if you include my Jag in the survey). What happened to the days when Jags were driven exclusively by cool people and celebrities?


Try to make an effort to look cool before you go out in your F-Type so you don't hurt the brand.

 

Does that mean I cant wear my camouflage ball cap when I drive mine?! ��

 

Do you have a 1950s style fedora with a feather in it?

I wore mine while driving this past weekend! My wife hates it.

 

First, you have to define cool.

I actually like the "nerdy guy" commercials Jaguar has been putting out with Nicholas Hoult.

If in Vert with top down, I highly recommend Gucci black leather bomber or Belstaff Leather jacket and Carreras. I get comments on my style from females often. But seriously, Lungary I saw an 80year old women bring her groceries back to her V6 Vert last week here in Marin. Cool? I think so. She looked like she was a hottie back in the day.

 

If I have to start buying designer crap to drive the car, it's for sale!! Kidding. I'll just remain the bum with the nice car.
