this car makes me giggle
sun is out today in the PNW so I took the jag out for a drive..and I discovered what I've been missing. all this time I've been driving it in dynamic mode but never in sport and never using the paddles, not sure why though, because today I really let loose with the paddles in sport mode and OH MY!!!! the crackles and pops..it was like me and the car were having a conversation which inevitably ended up in me giggling!
4000 RPM seems to be where the crackles start when you lift your foot off the pedal.
and the kick you get in sport mode is sooooooo much better than in dynamic mode!! for most of you this is probably redundant info but I just wanted to share my excitement and new found(higher) appreciation for this car!
cheers.

I dont have a F-Type but I do have a V8 XKR... If I put it in Sport Mode and Dynamic mode and go from 1st gear up to 4000-5000 RPM then take my foot off the gas and switch to 2nd gear holy hell does it snap/crackle/pop!!!

I love seeing this kind of newfound joy in posts like this. Took mine out today after it had to sleep for the last 6 weeks due to snow. Spent the entire afternoon running through gears and enjoying the symphony. Had to admit I purposely drove it through every town I could think of to let people hear it along with me.....kind of obnoxious I know but I could stop laughing. Diablomkii you have discovered the never ending joy this car can give you. Congrats

yes! I've had the car for 6 months now, however I was always uncomfortable using the paddles in sport mode for whatever reason. but as a result I would never access the crackles/pops but now I don't think I'll never drive without sport mode!! I feel like wanting the R less now
Yes, I have giggled more since I bought this car than I have in years. And whilst I discovered it early, I it only lately that I have been really using the paddles a lot since I had never had them before I didn't really love it, but I have been making the effort to train myself and am using them. More and more now.
