Car Matchmaker Ultimate Jaguar
Don't watch much TV besides sports so I've never seen Car Matchmaker, but looks like they are doing a Jag episode tonight for those with Esquire Network.

I just watched the episode and it was interesting. I have to call BS on the guy Adam though. He claimed to have a 2012 XJR but the XJR didn't come out until 2013 for the x351. Also, for a guy who claimed to be a Jaguar fan, he seems to know very little about the current Jaguar lineup.
I agree. I saw it too, and there is no difference between his XJR and the one he drove on the show. Personally, I think the XJR is a weak effort. The car is not special enough.
Contrast stitching is only on instrument cowl and not the rest of the dash. Seats are lifted from an XFR (can't get sport seats and massage), and those tail pipes look awful.

I enjoyed the show - for all the F-Type footage, and especially for seeing (and hearing) Steve McQueen's XKSS running! Jaguar's made a lot of very cool cars over the years: the XK120 (and 140 and 150), the C-Type, D-Type and E-Type, the XJ13, the XJ220, and of course, the F-Type Coupe. But the XKSS, for me, is at the top of the heap.
I was lucky enough to see this car at the High Museum in Atlanta a few years ago when it was part of the Allure of the Automobile exhibition. But of course, there it was just sitting still. Watching it in action on this show was a real treat!

No question the episode is wiorth watching if nothing more than seeing Steve McQueen's XKSS making laps on the roof of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Not everyday you get to see such an iconic ($30M) automobile in action; even if said action is in such confined quarters. Still, nice to see the F-Type featured.

Cool episode. Saw it in person at this year's Monterey Car Week. Incredible. Can't imagine driving that car around. Would be so paranoid of an accident, rock chip, etc.
After watching all the episodes in Car Matchmaker - caught here and there over the past several weeks - I gotta tell ya, Spike Feresten and the show has really grown on me. And how many of us have helped friends and family buy cars over the years? Certainly I have and still do.
