Default cargo cover

Hi everyone,
I have a 2018 F-Type and the back cargo cover has always had issues. Even after it was replaced it continues to "fall off" on one side or the other. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there is an easy fix.
Thanks very much!
Nick

Yup - common. There is too much "slop" and the pegs aren't long enough. I put a zip tie on eacg peg to take up some space and keep the cover from having a much side to side movement.

I believe this to be a well documented issue, with supporting YouTube videos to boot. I’m sure you’ll tidy this up soon!

JTB00618 - parcel shelf loose or adrift. The "fix" is to fit a grommet each side to stop the side slop, p/n T2R35506. Should be done under warranty, if you have one.

If you don't have a warranty, I measured the peg (forget the size now) and got some rubber washers of the proper size (innder diameter) in black rubber....two or three on each side of the car on the peg, then put the shelf back on...voila, no wiggle and no falling off. Same idea as all of the above....3 dollars.

Caliper for about 15 seconds (or try a metal washer or two for size, ruler, whatever. Then at least here off to the web (amazon) and then it shows up the next day or so.

Heck, even if you have a warranty, not worth the time or gas to deal with it at the dealer.
