Default Cargo cover

The new-to-me 2016 F-type R Coupe is missing the cargo well cover for the trunk and the plastic engine cover.. It seems rather expensive to buy new ones, does anyone have a good place for either of these pieces new?

Here’s a pic of the trunk showing the missing well cover.

Not new, but several options can be found fairly easily on EBay ... : here's one for the trunk pieces: https://www.ebay.com/itm/39544053765...SABEgLbmvD_BwE

Many of us on the forum have removed our engine covers to help dissipate heat. Not sure I would bother buying another one.

I purchased my FTR Convertible new and it did not come with a cargo well cover. Both the coupe and convertible appear to have at least this in common in the rear. Is it a Canada thing that these weren’t supplied or were they never provided with the convertibles?

Thanks,

I just researched another thread and it appears this was a JLR decision for North American convertibles (to leave this out). I’m sure the part would fit my car if I can source one. I have a new mission…

Default Engine cover

There are many opinions here on using the engine cover. I fall with the camp that supports the use. In fairness to all opinions, check this thread

Default Washers for hatch pegs

Here's a thread for coupe owners if the hatch cover has issues... the cords or the cover itself falling off the pegs. Another member posted the link to the thick black washers that can fit over the hatch pegs and keep the hatch centered. There's slop in there and if one end falls off and the trunk lid is closed, it could possibly break the pegs. Easy to put on with a bit of details spray on the pegs: Post 14

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...string-237898/

The washers SHOULD be 30mm x 10mm x 10 mm but the amazon link in the post does not show the 30x10x10s

I put these on my 2017, fit perfectly and hatch is snug and does not slide side to side on pegs.
