No that is not my unit that you described. If you look at my pictures, I am using my stock 8" screen where a harness plugs into the back of it on one end, then plugs into the Bosch unit at the end of the console with their unit being in the middle. I have not heard back from Carputech. I posted here so they could see it, I have also sent a request via their support.com on Sunday and today. Still nothing. I was hoping they would step up and admit they sent me a wrong unit and harness and ship out a replacement. I felt they were an upstanding company by the way they presented themselves here. But I am now thinking I probably got screwed royal. Not even a refund. Will probably have to have Paypal or Discover get involved to get my money back. So much for being the Guinea Pig!!

LATEST UPDATE!!!! REFUND REQUESTED! CARPUTECH and fellow Forum users. Today I decided I would try to answer some of the questions that have been requested. Even though I am unable to insert the control unit between the seat and the console I did however stretch the wires long enough to hook up the unit. After doing so, this is the results that I got: #1. NO Wireless. Would only connect if I had my phone plugged into the USB cable. #2. No steering wheel control buttons would change the volume or station. I didn't even check the parking sensors or the Dynamic controls as I was pretty disappointed at this stage in the game. So Carputech unless you are able to send me a fully tested unit with a correct wiring harness ,I am requesting you provide me with a postage paid return label so I can return this unit and receive a full refund, as it is not working as described in your advertisement. Harness is not made correctly to properly install in the F-Type, Wireless does not respond. Phone info only works if plugged into USB. Steering wheel controls do not respond. Really disappointed.

Well it's been 8 days since you stated you were sending a new cable out. When can I expect this? I see you offer 4 day shipping in your ad, I would have thought it would have been here by now. I have sent at least three personal E-mails to support@carputech.com along with messages from this board. My E-mails all had my proper E-mail address on them I have checked every E-mail along with junk folders and a reply has never been sent from your company. I can't reply to an E-mail that I have never received. I will list it here for you. jbaker@rrohio.com We'll see how this plays out as I am very skeptical at this point.

Hi @Rondog would you mind letting us know if your module’s becomes unresponsive after you put your Dynamic Mode in ‘User Setup’?
I just tried a similar unit from another vendor on AliExpress and sadly, the UI freezes whenever Dynamic Mode is in ‘My setup’. Dynamic Mode need not even be on; just the underlying setting is 'My setup'. Thanks.
The ZTUZAUTO I have doesn't freeze when using "my setup." It does freeze on long drives, so hopefully we hear that the Carputech is more reliable. I'd like to swap to something else, but need more testing before dice rolling again.
Well let's see. They sent the wrong cable to begin with. It was way too short. Took them forever to send the correct cable. Response time to respond on their end was very very slow. After finally getting it hooked up in my car I had trouble getting it to come up properly. Contacted their support which was worthless. Steering wheel buttons would not work, transferring from the radio portion to the navigation portion would not work, tried to work with them on setting the default buttons, still no good. At this point I requested a refund and told them I would be sending the unit back. They offered to send me a new unit at a lower price. I told them it wasn't worth it and I sent the unit back. I got my money back. So today I just play the carplay through my I-Phone which is wireless. It works!
