CF Jag Accessories
Quick question, I know some of the CF accessories are wrapped and not actual Carbon Fiber. Does anyone know which ones? The carbon package is the one option I didn't get as the order was already in and I couldnt change it.
I want to buy the parts but if the front splitter and rear valance are a wrap I'll save some money and not buy those pieces.

Although some of the official accessories are wrapped parts, it is worth clarifying that they are still wrapped in actual carbon fibre (i.e. not painted or a film). The parts that are subjected to stress tend to be wrapped as pure moulded CF would crack and shatter, sometimes dangerously.
Of the ones I've fitted:
The front splitters, hood and fender vents are CF wrapped plastic.
The inner dash stack trim is a combination of CF wrapped plastic and aluminium.
The mirror covers are moulded CF with inlaid plastic brackets.
I have not seen the V6 rear lower diffuser, but I suspect that is CF wrapped plastic as bumpers need to meet strict rules on not exposing sharp edges during pedestrian impacts and the shape does not lend to filling.
Again I have not seen them, but I suspect the V8 engine cover and the optional CF roof are probably moulded CF.

Thank you sir! I'll go ahead with all the pieces to complete the look. I'll just keep mine as spares or sell them.
I was afraid some of the parts were a wrap, that's not worth paying for. I can deal with real carbon fiber molded over plastic although its not the best for weight savings.
