I noticed that the coolant level on my 2021 F Type R with only 4200 miles was below the MIN level, checked when cold. The owners manual only states that STJLR.651.5003 coolant is recommended. There is only one auto parts store within 35 miles which is a NAPA Auto.
The only coolant that they had in stock that looked remotely compatible was Zerex G40 by Valvoline which is a "pink" pre-mixed 50/50 water/antifreeze solution. It says it is for Euro vehicles and approved by MB, VW, Porsche and Audi and "recommended" for Jaguars 2015 and newer. This product says nothing however about being silicate free while other "Euro" formulas like PEAK OET Euro 50/50 pink mix do. Is that an issue ?
The owners manual says the mix should be 60% distilled water and 40% antifreeze unless I am under extreme cold conditions. No problem as I can add a few ounces of distilled water.
Is this stuff OK or should I pick up a jug of the factory coolant at the dealership or the Peak OET Euro (Pink) which also is recommended for Jaguars 1997 and newer at Autozone ?

I had exactly the same situation when I checked my coolant level after a few thousand miles on my 2021 R-Dynamic.
I sued Pentosin Pentofrost SF diluted 1:1 with distilled water. Pentofrost SF meets the JLR spec for coolant. It was the only coolant I found that did.
Seems like JLR does not top off their cars off fully before shipping. My car has not used any coolant since my top off.
Probably was not necessary but for $20 I felt better!!
Ironically, it encouraged me to check my wife's Audi A7.
That also needed a small amount of coolant (15K miles) but unfortunately it requires a different Pentofrost version, so another $20.
Almost certainly, the remaining 90% of both my purchases will eventually become just hazardous waste, that I may have to spend another $20 to get rid of!!!!!

Could have been air pockets in the cooling system that eventually purged out.
I know that on several new cars of different manufacturers, the coolant level has dropped a little after driving. The same thing happens on all cars when the cooling system is serviced.
CHECK THOSE FLUIDS! PPIs (pre Purchase Inspections) are not always done thoroughly.
Thanks CJSJAG. I'll be heading down to civilization this week and there is an Advanced Auto Parts location along the route that shows the Pentofrost SF coolant in stock. I'll pick up a jug and mix up some to add to my F Type when I get home. I'll be driving my other car so won't worry about the low coolant level on my Jag. I will keep an eye on the level going forward though in case it drops again.
Carbuff2, I recall having a look at the coolant level after I took delivery last May and it was OK. Maybe the few times I drove the car over the winter and turned on the heater allowed the coolant to circulate through the heating system and that caused the level to drop a little. I know when doing a complete cooling system fluid change, one should run the engine with the heater on for a minute or so to make sure the entire system is full and then top off as necessary and it could be that during the PPI they missed that step.

I was able to find the Pentofrost SF coolant at an Advanced Auto Parts store. It was expensive stuff costing $20.29 for 1.5 liters although it is a concentrate and needs to be mixed with distilled water either 60/40 or 50/50 depending upon the climate conditions where you live. Other brand coolants are typically $22 - $25 per gallon (3.73 liters) depending upon whether they are pre-mixed or concentrates.
I wonder what the JLR factory coolant costs at the dealerships ?
