Default Dashcam install shop in LA

Greeting,

I'm newbie here and wanted to say hi to all of y'all. I will pick up F-Type R IRR this week. So exciting! Will post some pics here asap

I was wondering what shop did you guys use for installing dashcam in LA area. I already bought thinkware dashcam. Can you please share your experiences/price?

thanks!

Takes about an hour to DIY. Finding a grounding point is a pain.

OP - at least you are wanting a dash cam in the first place. Still hard to believe many people don't have them.

If you feel uncomfortable doing the install just get a 12v to 5v long lead with a usb mini end and have any stereo shop stub it out to the right/behind your rear view mirror then buy a good camera online. Go to Techmoan's youtube channel to study up a bit.

I have the DDpai and love it. People also like the Blackbox(?) a lot. 1440p cams, gps, wifi to mobile, audio, all of that for about $110-$200.

Getting a cord in place is the first step - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pruveeo-Har...4AAOSwcndZrxFn

There is also a way to tap into the mirror base and convert to 5v, but I never figure that out.

Garmin also makes a decent dashcam/gps unit now that a lot of stereo shops are pushing, however there isn't an ideal place to mount it on the F-Type's narrow view area.
