The Definitive Android 10.25” Retrofit Thread
@Jason1701 I have iNav system with android auto on original Harman system and I have EXACTLY the same issue. Bad quality audio thru wireless android auto and it feels left based. This unit is using AUX input (internally, not with the plug), so I thought maybe the AUX is ****.
My OEM Bluetooth audio is dropping connections all the time so I cannot use it.
@Nuno Miguel Monteiro you can do that like on one model year on early facelifts only, older Harman cannot be upgraded.

If your car vin finish in JCK, you have harman, and you can upgrade to oem pro 10 system with Mo, from retrofits. He unlock carplay/android auto in Pro 10 system (10 inch screen)
if your vin does not finish JCK before the numbers, you have version 2 of bosch, and only option is the chinese android system.

The 10.25 android car play screen in my XE sounds great. You mention one sounds fine and the other one is messed up. Are they the same brand?
If no, then try another brand that might work better.
If yes, then I think you have a problem with the unit and they should exchange it, not have you try to solder a board or check for problems.

Also I think that most of the chinesse units are basically the same and differs in CPU and RAM, I did not read anywhere that one should have better audio than others.
