Thank you, although I can’t take any of the credit for them, they were professionaly done in Huntington Beach, CA. at Supercars by the Sea, a monthly event started by a Couple of Mates. The next one is Sunday July 15th, then August 12th.

Beautiful car and pictures. Perhaps re-post to the Official Jaguar F-Type Picture Post thread?

Reminds me of home.
Miles of beaches and ocean, and not a single bikini or speedo in sight.

Haha! Some of the shots remind me of Weston-Super-Mare when the tide goes out.

By by the way everyone, my Note to self: Make sure the Door Handles are *in* next time around.

F-Type at Laguna Seca. SOOoooo fun on the track. Such a playful car. Not the fastest car of the day (though I did clock a sub-2min lap or two) but probably the most fun!

Speaking of drones...

Here’s some remarkable (IMO) drone video of the 2017 Lobster Run, in downtown Portland ME. Thanks to Zach for shooting/editing this. Good times! And glad I had a hat on so you can’t see my bald spot...

Fantastic Dave. Thanks for posting. As you probably recall Zach took quite a bit more footage—if you’d like, I think you could also post us in the [2018] Wild Blueberry fields—including some not suitable for public viewing, if you catch my drift. Wouldn’t want to get anyone in trouble. I seem to recall Alen, in 2017, also produced and filmed a, what?, 29 min movie of us? Probably best not to post that either. I think your bald spot is the highlight of that film. (Not to worry, you’re literally and figuratively in good company there.)

Best regards,
Jay

Nice photos and great idea on the club meet.

Maybe I should drive 1500 miles to make the July event.

Just sent over the funds for this beauty. Depending on transport, hoping to have it by next week. 2017 F-Type R. Aside from ceramic coating, thinking about getting tint. Any other cosmetic things people like, I haven't had much time to search just yet. I am so incredibly excited to be a part of this group and can't wait to start her up!

ceramic coating will only HELP to protect against swirls and micro scratches. It will do nothing to protect against against rock and gravel chips. Consider clear wrapping the hood, forward side panels, rocker panels and just in front of the rear wheel wells. My clear wrap actually saved one of my rocker panels from a piece of construction lumber that jumped up and bit my car. Tore off a 3 inch piece of film without doing any damage to the paint finish (which was ceramic coated). I also have a few small divots in the clear wrap on the hood and have a rock chip in the glass roof. The wrap is a great investment if you plan on keeping the car.

Whoops, I just realized I posted this to the wrong thread. My apologies.

But thank you for that feedback. The car actually has a clear bra installed up to the half of the hood and the high impact areas by the previous owner. I agree, I have that on my other car, and its such a peace of mind.
