Mostly under load. They don't stay open all the time like switchable does. Though I'm actually skeptical it stays open 100% of the time - with the fuse removed (valves definitely open 100% of the time) and top up, the car drones quite badly at highway speed. Does this happen with switchable active exhaust on? Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't open the valves completely at ~2500RPM, where it drones.

I'll pay attention at the Blueberry Blast in August - think I'm one of the few cars without switchable active exhaust. I'll put the fuse back in for my drive back to Michigan next month, as it's a lot of hours on the highway, and the drone would drive me nuts. Downshifting would probably reduce it but would kill fuel efficiency.

I have the active exhaust valves but no button on the console. The owner’s manual say if dynamic mode is engaged, the exhaust valves are automatically opened. I too am not sure whether they are 100% open at idle or gradually kicks in with increased load. Someone let me know please.

There’s a fellow in the UK that is offering a device that will open and close via a key fob. If the drone at 2500 is bad, then I don’t think I’ll pull the trigger.
Does anyone have this device?

I've had the fuse pulled since last fall. But I'm seldom on the highway, so it hasn't been an issue. But it wasn't very pleasant when I was on the highway. I'll be driving back to MI (900+ miles) in a few weeks, and I'll put the fuse back in for that. Hope the pump and valves still work!
I may end up installing a switch in series with the fuse, so I can switch it at will.
