Default Eco mode set at 30 sec approx

Loving my F type S, 2014 model.

With eco mode enabled, how do I change the timer on this from say default 30s when foot on brake to 1m or 2m.

Any help would be much appreciated.

AJ

Don't quite understand the question. Are you asking about the time until it shuts the engine down or the time until it turns back on again. Depending on battery condition and load, mine will immediately shut off at a stop. Has nothing to do with a timer. Engine won't restart until battery charge is down, Climate control calls for it, clutch is depressed, or steering input calls for it.

You're probably running the AC OP ?

I tried turning the AC off and it seems like the car stays off until you're ready to go.

Thanks. will try with a/c off. Defo a timer. Perhaps a software issue and an upgrade is needed

Disable that steaming pile of an option....

I removed the second battery to kill mine off and saved 10 lbs.

Since I commute in mine, I've gotten used to ECO. Flipped me out the first few days that i owned the car. My only gripe is that it is a bit ragged sometimes starting when I let off the brake. But in the 1.5 years that I've had the car, I bet that ECO has save a whole gallon of gas.

I vote for the VAP mod to turn eco off. As a bonus, you also get extra horsepower!

No wonder they call you the Big Daddy!

Big Daddy you were correct. Did a time check with air con off and could not get the engine to start again. Thank you. This has resolved the issue. With winter coming in UK this is all good.
