Electrical Glitch...
OK so here is my dilemma. I am driving down the road and as I pull away from a stop light I accelerate rather quickly to about 65 mph (which was the speed limit) and all of the sudden my car dies the dash lights up like a Xmas Tree and my gear shifter is flashing"P". I quickly pull over and stop the car press the "P" button and press the start button all goes dead as it should. I then press the start button again and all is well. This only happened once. The car is a 2015 V6 S Coupe with 800 miles on it. Has anyone else experienced this issue before?
Unfortunately this kind of thing is not all that uncommon with modern cars. There was probably a set of numbers from a variety of sensors that didn't make sense and the car went to limp mode. Shutting down and restarting reboots the computers and all is ok.
Your dealer will be able to read the codes and tell you what happened but still may be nothing to fix. If it happens again, definitely worth taking to dealer as there may be a real problem or may be a dodgy sensor somewhere.

As with all computers, sometimes software get's corrupted when installed. I would bet a re-flash of whatever box is causing the problem would likely take care of it.
One nice thing about computers controlling everything, is that the various components don't have to be removed and replaced as often, which is very labor-intensive. Many of today's repairs are accomplished by simply plugging in a laptop.
