Default EVAP recall

I took my 2018 F type in for a cat code and I was told that there is a recall on F types for the Evap. The charcoal canister thread prompted me to post this since I was unaware of the recall.

I just checked on my 2018 and there are no recalls listed at the moment.

FYI - The recall search tool on the Jaguar web-site only accepts the VIN if the alphabetic characters are in all caps.

As I recall, there was an evap system recall on my 2016. I think it was a fitting on a vapor line in the cab and required removing the seats to access. I'd have to check my service records to be sure.

I picked up the car yesterday, the service order reads:
Scanned for logged faults P0420 CAT
Job 1 DownPipe Right Side Renew
Performed 7 mile Road Test- No Faults
Job 2
H422-Fuel Vapor Purge
PCM update
Perform H422v2- Powertrain Control Module Software Update
To me there was a software update for the EVAP, correct?

Yes there was a software update. I had it done a while ago. I did not notice any changes. The thread below has more info.

Just curious: Was the service work covered under any warranty? Std 5/50 warranty, emissions warranty, CPO warranty or private warranty or.......did you have to pay for the downpipe renew and/or Fuel Vapor Purge? Inquiring minds want to know and thank you for your reply!

My understanding is that the Cat downpipe was covered under the emissions warranty. My car was put into service 1/11/18 so my 8 years will soon be over. I was told the Fuel Vapor purge was a recall.
