Exhaust system options?
I’m in the discovery phase of my 2024 F type AWD ownership. Enjoying it but the exhaust sound is a bit surprising. The fuse that controls the exhaust.
was pulled (forum info). The sound is loud enough for me but lacks the low frequency rumble I’m accustomed to from my other V8 vehicles, during low power operations. Searching through this forum the Stinger exhaust seems to provide a better sound at lower RPMs but is a bit too loud with the valves open. Are there other options?
Long ago I owned a 2010 XF V8 and loved the exhaust sound. It was perfect so I’m a bit surprised the F type doesn’t provide a similar sound. It might be there isn’t enough space underneath for a system with a proper sounding exhaust.

Dear Sir,
If I can be of any assistance to you please feel free to contact me at my direct address;

I will gladly answer any and all questions you may have regarding your exhaust system and your options. Please keep in mind, you do not want your aftermarket exhaust to have any droning sound snd or raspy tone. That defeats the purpose of an aftermarket exhaust system.
NOTE: our exhaust system does NOT trigger the car's ( CEL ) check engine light.
Many message board members have purchased our Full exhaust system which includes our 100 Cell or 200 Cell HJS sport cats as part of the full exhaust system. No check engine light from installing our sport cats. Member JagBass can verify this fact.
Thank you.

Does your car have the OPF? If so, how do you work around the monitoring to avoid a check engine light?
My car is a 2017 F Type R sports car.
I believe you are located in Pennsylvania. Do the new U. S. market Jaguar F-Type sports car have the OPF filter (Otto Particulate Filter)

The Euro market has implemented the use of the OPF filter for the Jaguar F-Type sports car. Not sure about the American market.
The OPF filter is associated with the catalytic converter downpipe. Take a look at this video.

@Turko my understand is that Jaguar decide to keep the same exhaust for the US market. Porsche did the same thing for the US market although not required. If the Jag is using the same software as Europe, then the OPF is monitored. My area has emission inspection once per year. A check engine light will cause an immediate failure and no sticker for your windshield. If caught with an expired sticker you get a ticket.

Yes, I am aware that the Porsche 911 series customers are complaining about the car's exhaust system being less loud due to the gas particulate filter being part of the exhaust system. I know for a fact that the simple remedy for Porsche owners is to replace the exhaust system. I personally know Porsche owner who replaced the headers the downpipes and the exhaust muffler with a completely new system in order to remedy the lmuted exhaust sound issue.
Regarding the Jaguar F-Type sports car I'm just not sure. You're definitely uses the OPF filter and I thought that this was not necessary for the American market vehicle. Isn't the OPF filter part of the downpipe for the Jaguar F-Type sports car..
The 2022 MY and newer F-Types have OPF regardless of market. It is embedded into the cat so any exhaust mods that leave the factory cats in place should not be an issue. I have the VAP exhaust on my MY 23 and I did not get any check engine light, and here in MA we also have to do yearly emissions testing.
No, everything is stock except the exhaust box itself. All OEM cats and downpipes.
I will second that, and no drone whatsoever. I have the full system with the 200 cells HJS Sport CATS. No CEL light after install so no additional tune mod needed, at least not on my car.
You'll need a system that has the correct electronic valves. The 2021-on have the electronic valves and it's important that they are the correct type and orientation to avoid problems.
We've got these available with a few tip styles.
