Does anyone have a contact with a Jaguar dealership to purchase an extended warranty? It looks more and more as I will be buying from a non Jaguar dealer

 

In my experience, no extended warranty is worth the paper it's written on. Most times they only cover parts, not labor or diagnosis. However, there may be others out there. I did get an extended warranty with my Ducati that was exactly the same as the original factory warranty for an extra year. It was rather expensive though. And hindsight, I didn't end up needing it.

 

Unless the car is CPO even a Jaguar Dealer will sell you a non Jaguar extended warranty. Just do your homework on the company and what is covered before buying one. I have purchased them with my XKR and now my F-Type.

I am going to reach out to a few Jaguar dealers to speak with finance managers about pricing, in the event I purchase the F Type at a non-Jaguar dealership.

 

New Jag dealer in Austin told me I do not qualify for a "Jaguar" extended warranty. She said that Jag changed companies in December, and the new company will not write a policy if the car has over 25,000 miles. She said she will quote me a Master Tech "Ultra" warranty. Any thoughts?

The info IRRBrogue provided kind of shoots down my plan to get extended Jag warranty before I hit 5 years and/or 60k, per the info on Jaguar page. I was kicking around the idea of selling my F Type this summer while it still has lots of factory warranty on it, I hope this SARS scare settles down soon.

I realize it has been a while since this was posted, but did you purchase a Jaguar Vehicle Protection Plan warranty? If so, would you mind sharing the details? Thanks!
