Horrible, the F-type in my eyes is as close to design perfection as any car I have seen. Can't fathom why anyone would do this to one.

Default I'm with you

I was figuring someone might have come up with a Project 7 kit by now, apparently they are going in a really bad direction instead.

Default And then there is this...

Now if this was a kit I might consider it. It showed up in my search but I have no idea what it is. It does look rather wicked though.

At least the 2nd one (wide-body kit) is interesting and has a practical reason if one were to modify the car for racing. It's long been a pretty standard design mod for cars developed to compete in one of the GT road racing classes over the years.

On the other hand, it's ridiculous for a street car.

I agree...it does look pretty purposeful for racing.

I think the links in the first few posts will be of interest to owners who want to be able to clearly demonstrate that not only do they have enough money to buy the car, they have enough money not to take it seriously.

That, or they're morons.

Gaaahh...as much as I hate admitting it, I do have a soft spot for that 2nd one.

I know, I know - totally the antithesis of what the F-Type is all about, but I've always loved Liberty Walk's work - they take cars that most people deem "perfect" or "beautiful" and then transform them into these weird sorts-of Bladerunner/Mad Max alternate reality-apocalypse mobiles.

And I like that brand of crazy. Because I don't see it as being quite as vulgar as the first link, for example. It's just...weird sci-fi. Quintessentially Tokyo.
