Default F-type black lettering and emblems

Evening.

I have a firesand f-type but it has chrome boot jaguar writing and f-type badge and leaping jaguar emblem.

I want to change them all to black and I can find a black leaping jaguar emblem on eBay. But for the life of me I can't find the letters. Does anyone know where I can get them?

You have to make them yourself.

The black leapers you can find on Fleabay are slightly different in shape to the OEM leaper (you need to put them side by side to see the difference), the problem with the Fleabay leapers is they are flat and not curved so they don't conform to the slight curve of the F-Type spoiler, and they are solid metal which is very difficult if not impossible to bend to the correct shape. Put simply, they don't work.
Instead you need to paint your existing leaper, difficult to do without removing it first. I removed, repainted and repositioned my leaper.
Plenty of OEM chrome lettering sets available on Fleabay as well, and repainting a new set black then sticking it on would be infinitely easier than trying to paint the existing set. The new sets come with a "template" that gives you the correct placement and spacing whereas removing the OEM letters then trying to replace them would be a nightmare.
Most choose to remove (debadge) the letters rather than paint them but I think someone here has plasti-dipped them black, with "average" results.
Heaps of threads and posts around here about debadging and/or re painting badges, search is your friend!

I followed the advice above with excellent results, I ended up not using the ebay bits which didnt have the curve required. Ultimately my car only has the leaper on the back which another member pointed out was as intended in the CX-16, before marketing got involved.

So gorgeous. Like so many cars, as time marches on the series of disconnected updates incrementally make the car uglier and uglier. Whomever modified Ian Callum and crew's original front end should be fired without notice. No, since they fd-up an Ian Callum design, they should burn at the stake.

When Jag updated the XF in 2015 from the X250 to the X260 they went from leaper only on the bootlid to leaper plus "JAGUAR" lettering underneath, so the same as the F-Type.
By all reports this was done specifically for the North American market because 99.9% of drivers in cars following had no idea that the car in front was a Jagwaaar without the lettering spelling it out for them.
So blame them Muricans!
