I have a 2016 model V6 340hp Coupe in glacier white, with many bodywork issues... All plastic body parts do not match the aluminium painted areas noticeably. The local Jaguar body shop tested the colour difference and my warranty agreed to repaint the plastics to match as it was agreed the difference was unacceptable. My experience was poor with the local body shop.... only the front nose cone was painted, they damaged my dashboard and their driver ripped the **** out of my car when returning it... incontrol app was invaluabe for catching the ****** out. Has anyone else had the same issue with Glacier white??
Other issues: my bonnet and drivers door are not aligned with car lines / styling. The bonnet encroaches into the wheel arches on both sides, the drivers door lines do not match up with the rear quarter lines, anyone else experienced this?
I absolutely love my car, however it now looks like I will have to reject the car and get a new one ordered, which is not how I wanted my first Jaguar experience to go, however I have to commend my local dealer (Peter Vardy Aberdeen), as they have been very supportive and proactive.
I want to order my car in Glacier white again (believe me it is stunning in glacier white), but will need to have faith Jaguar have resolved the paint issue before I go ahead with order.
Anyone else had paint, body work issues to the point of rejecting the car??
My F type is the R in Italian racing red and the paint and all trim are perfect.
The car overall has no issue whatsoever, as has my XKR.. no issue.
I hope you can get the paint and fitment worked out so it does not distract you from the fun of driving these beasts and with some persistence I'm sure Jaguar will look after you... I know my dealer and overall experience with Jaguar has been very good.
My '16 is Storm Grey, and perhaps because it's a new "premium" color, it all seems to match. Haven't washed it yet though. That's when I'd be most likely to notice discrepancies.

Lawrence.
I also have IRR andI have no issues with the fit and finish . The paint match is right on. I rust your issues will be resolved. Do you know if there might have been any pre delivery repair or done that may have had an impact on the issues?...no pun intended
Here is my car in glacier white. P.S. Italian Racing Red was a close second choice!!! But may be my first soon. Notice the colour difference on the rear spoiler area.

I will post pics, however the local body shop have realigned the doors (both sides, when only one side needed aligned!)but all they were able to do was move the problem from the top of the door to the bottom. Not their fault though, best they could do with the materials they have to work with. They made a great job of the front nose cone painting, but didnt put the nose cone back on perfectly....
Yep, had paint quality and bodywork issues on a MY15.
Rejected car, replaced with new one, MY16, absolutely spot on. All issues inc stereo and other faults evident with earlier cars seemed to be ironed out.
Front bumper mis-aligned (prior to delivery, dealership fixed it but reported that it was now at the limit of adjustment), bonnet pretty much as pictured on your car addressed by JLR approved body shop, doors sticking out along the bottom edge addressed by the same bodyshop some months later. Front wheel arches still not ideal...
An improperly closed bonnet (hood) causes lots of seams to not line up. If you slam it with your hand from one side or the other, it will almost certainly latch crooked.
Two approaches to close the bonnet. Lower the bonnet most of the way, then stand in front of the car, and push down on the bonnet with a hand on each bonnet vent. Or, stand to the side, and reach out to the middle of the hood and slam down. (Think there's a video on here somewhere of the first technique.)
