I currently have the exact problem that you posted in the first comment with a picture of a working navigation system with a blacked out map screen.
Does anyone have a remedy?

I'm in Paris, France and I read your message on the jaguar forum with black screen on GPS.
I too have a 2014 F-TYPE R from the USA and I bought the USA to Europe card conversion.
All the installation went well but after the restart the GPS works with voice but I have a screen without map. ( same screen as you )
I've tried everything but I can't find the map.
Have you found a solution?

My 2014 F-Type has an intermitant problem with the map going black. Everything else works. Did you ever get to the bottom of the problem?
