Thanks Mulmur. I think I'll have to trust that the dealer works with a good installer. They deal with mostly Jag, Lamborghini and Aston Martin so you would hope that the quality is there.
Just got a quote back. Dealer will do full front up to windshield plus window tint for $2780. They give a lifetime warranty. Sounds a bit high to me. I can tint the windows for $200. The XPEL without install is around $1450.

Full Hood Xpel should run $1400 to $1600... INSTALLED
Go to Xpel's website https://www.xpel.com/ and do a search for installers in your area. This well rated installer in Long Beach quoted me $1550 for his highest level Platinum Coverage (Bumper, Headlights, Full Hood, Fenders & Mirrors)

I have Xpel being added by a certified installer in Cardiff, UK this week - I'll let those on this side of the pond know how it goes.
Personally, I would have gone for SunTek - the film is smoother - but there are very few people doing it yet here.
