Does your phone not protrude down over the buttons on the screen, any pics of it attached

Yes, it covers the top two buttons on the RHS, but I never use those buttons anyway.

Scosche adhesive mag mount is #1. Clamp type mounts are bulky and cheap/tacky looking. Get a Spigen thin fit case for your phone with the metal plate mount inside the case, done.

Nice to take their vent push-on mount on trips when driving a rental car - $12.

They make this mag-mount case for most mobile phones:

I centered my Scoshe, with a 10" lighting cable, and run Waze in Landscape Mode most of the time, with Spotify integrated (pics were taken with my tablet, so they kinda suck, but you can get the idea)

been using something very similar from Dealextreme in China that cost a couple of quid and works perfect, they didn't have Qi charge version when I bought mine but that was a year ago so now they might well

Just ordered a variety of the Scosche to see which works best with the angles in the FType. Oz's looks like the 'Surface' model, but seems to vertical to not be the 'Original' model. So I got two vent attachments (on clearance) a Pro dash and a surface. FYI - some of them are cheaper at amazon if you like to get the best deal.

Some of the reviews say the 3M adhesive doesn't hold...hope that's not the case as that would be annoying.

I'll post an update once I get them installed.

3M holds fine.

Very solid if you prep with alcohol first. Seen people uses cleaners/wipes and then stick to that and the cleaner containers oils, etc, that make the 3m tape useless.

Agreed, mine came with the alcohol "pad" to prep the surface, I just followed the directions and it seems that getting it off is going to be more difficult than getting it to stay on :-)

+1.
I'm never even going to attempt to remove the holder as I'm afraid of the damage the glue could do!

I find the adhesive works for phones of a certain size and weight. For example, my work iphone 6 is fine, but my personal Note 4 is much bigger and slightly heavier and thus will make the whole structure fall. Additionally, when the vents are on for heat, it makes the glue unstick and it falls slowly. I am in Canada so I have the vents on sometime for the heat. Still trying to figure out the best place to put the phone in this car.

I use the suction version of the Scoshe and it performs well without fail. It’s appearance is really not imposing.

I recently bought mine in Halfords in the UK. They had a full Scosche range imported from the US...about £15.
