Good Day Ladies and Gents,

I recently removed my steering wheel in a 2014 F Type in order to get the leather replaced and the plastics painted.
Today, I wanted to start the car but noticed that it was not starting.
I thought that the battery is dead, so I connected my AR Giulia to the + and - under the F Type hood, however, even though there is power (AC, screens and lights are working), the engine is still not starting at all. Alternator is not turning at all, only a clicking noise is noticeable.

Is it possible that starting the car is impossible with the airbag and steering wheel removed? The ignition might be completely cut off? This can happen in other brands, does the F Type have a similar feature?

If yes, will I be able to start the motor if I reconnect the airbag?
