91xjs airbag/steering wheel removal?

1991 XJS - OK...still looking for proper procedure to disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel. There is a rectangular spring loaded door on the bottom back of the steering wheel, no mention or graphics in the cd rom manual. It references "Service Bulletin JD 10/89 Item 52" for procedures, but isn't included and I can't find the info anywhere. Anyone out there that can share some info would be much appreciated.

steering wheel removal video

There is a great UK video resource primarily aimed for wood interior removal on XJSs.
In one videos they explain about steering wheel removal. I think you needed some kind of modified tool to disarm the airbag, but it was a while since i watched it.
