Default F-Type SVR Hood Vents

Hi folks,

Does anybody know where I can get a set of Black or Carbon Fiber hood vents for the SVR. I could get mine painted, but it's leased and they may want it returned with the original color.

I wrapped mine in the XKR and it was a very hard job to stop it lifting because of the contours. Maybe a professional could do it better. I ended up buying cf ones through Mina who could maybe fabricate you some, otherwise buy a set of new ones and have them painted.

How about the paint that can be peeled away.

Well, they use it for wheels.. .. vents endure a lot less.. .. try it, costs next to nothing..

I asked a reputable company here in New Jersey who does wrapping and they wouldn't do it because the SVR vent has many complex contours (see photo), they couldn't guarantee the film would not lift.

Be careful about the temperatures on those vents. Plastidip can only handle so much heat. Its generally avoided in areas which tend to get very hot.

Unless you are committed to carbon fiber, I'd get them painted in gloss black for around $200 from a reputable shop. Can't imagine a dealer creating issues for you when you return your lease. My money says that they wouldn't even notice them! I checked online for CF SVR vents and they were expensive and the company in China is not very responsive or dependable according to customer complaints.
