F-Type V8S written off....
....with less than 1000 miles on the clock...
No C/P, Jaguar, F-TYPE, Convertible - Pickles Auctions Australia
Doesn't look like a big hit...but the insurance companies over here tend to write off new & exotic cars rather than have the owners complain that they weren't fixed properly.
BTW Statutory Write Off means this car can never be registered in Australia again...
EDIT, pictures for posterity

Can't be re-registered here so it's for scrap, export or something dodgy...
If it was a coupe i'd think about making a track car out of it, assuming the "wreck" were to sell cheap enough.
Depending on what it sells for at auction, it might be worthwhile repairing & shipping back to the UK, but given the prices of these cars here vs. UK, I can't see that being economical either.
If I have time on Friday I will go along to the auction & see what it sells for...

Looks like Mad Max may be getting an upgrade!!
There's a front end damaged Base convertible on ebay (US) that is 'open to offers' - billed as an 'ez fix'....

This thing sold today for $62K + fees so around $67.5K...auction was won by an internet bidder.
Was chatting with a guy who was interested in it, but his budget was $40K, he would have repaired it & sent it overseas (didn't say where though) and we were chatting about the parts needed & where to get them from...
Apparently the car was written off by the insurance company because they had replaced it with a new car under one of those "new for old" policies...
I suspect they would have got more for it if it was booked as a repairable write-off, I mean it would probably be less than $15K to fix it...
Door Assembly £571
Door Seal £24
Window £161
Window Reg £208
Door Handle £226
Plus whatever other bits & pieces... and a rear quarter which is £398 so you probably would just replace it rather than try to fix the damage...
If it couldn't have been fixed for under $15K i'd be surprised...instead it's going to be shipped off to who knows where...

That was in Aussie dollars, at todays rates it sold for ~$57'300 US.
I doubt anyone would try to sell a repaired RHD car to the US, it will have to go to a RHD market, or maybe the middle-east (they don't care much about which side the steering wheel is on in Lebanon...)
I was thinking it will probably go to New Zealand, since the UK prices are fairly low too & it wouldn't be worth the repair + shipping to sell it in the home market...
Just in case anyone ends up with this car & happens to googles their VIN, this car is SAJAC66K9EMK10752, former NSW registration CTB86K, written off with 1508kms on the clock, i've updated the OP so the pictures are there permanently...
