Somebody told me the factory window tint is about a 70 so a 35 tint on that would be like a 30. Is this true? And what percentage tints are you guys running? In kansas 35 percent is the darkest you can go. I have had 35 before and it sucks. No privacy. On the flip side i want to drive at night too. Im thinking of going 20.

We always use a 20 here in the desert, works fine at night.

 

I’m also looking to put a tint on my ftypeSVR I’ve read about a tint that gets darker in sunlight and lighter at night. Not sure what is “best in class” with tint brands but starting the research. Good luck.

 

I think it really accents the flow of the already beautiful F type.

 

Does the 20% tint affect your window dimming at all? I had this issue in another car before where they wouldn’t dim the side mirrors as the sensor was in the rear view mirror.

 

I have not noticed any difference.
