Not sure which piece/pieces aren't fitting well. I'm attaching photos of the passenger/right side issue I had. The other piece of info is that many of these Fs come through with misaligned panels, right from the factory. One of the days when I was at my local JLR dealer and they still had vehicles on the display floor, I looked at a new 2020/2021 and same front hood/side misalignment. When I started looking at my car (MY2017) I found I could easily push/press in that entire light assembly!!!! So I started poking around in the upper wheel well area. The first two photos are different views of the pass/right side misalignment. Up above the tire in the wheel well, you will see two rubber plugs, they are easy enough to get out with your fingers or gently with a small screwdriver, so as not to puncture the rubber. The next 2 photos are the plugholes and the plugs. Once I got the plugs out, and put a light in there, I could see that there were NO fender bolts holding that entire assembly on to the car. Went to dealer, got 4 bolts, in case one fell into the abyss of the front end. Used some putty to hold the bolt in the socket, had husband press in assembly, aligned the panels, got bolt started and tightened. Then just put the second one in. Replaced the plugs. the last photo is after the re-alignment. From what I've read and been told, these cars are not assembled robotically, like our 2018 Corvette. While one would think that a vehicle in this price range would not have such panel issues... they are what they are.
