Dennis, it's not real clear if you have an X250 or an X260. The change over was in 2015 and there is no way an X260 light cluster will go into an X250 as they are different shapes. It seems your top pic is of an X260 headlight and your bottom pic is of an X250 headlight. Look closer at the pics and you will see they have very different shapes on the ends/sides.

Easy swap. Also easy swap to fit all front end from x260 to x250- bonnet.wings. bumper. it looks neat. LED a brighter and dipped light are much bettter. even LED.

The main issue here is how everybody understand "easy swap" . My own expierence here tells me-if somebody asks question -its already no up to task.

As elvi says you have to change over the front bumper, bonnet/hood and wings/fenders. All of them. Just to get the X260 lights to fit.
Easy enough but hardly cheap!

hardly the same shape. plus is there any proof that the X260 fenders, bumper and hood would line up on an X250?

I can't see that they would fit - post 2015 has the hood cut off before the grill, and I imagine the hardware hard points are different to accommodate.
