Hi Rock,

How difficult would it be to remove the symposer and get access to the supercharger refill screw ?

I would like to change the fluid but keep the car as it was.
Is this a DYI or best to leave for dealer ?

 

Rock wrote a complete DIY for the V8 and ilink is posted in this thread. Post #3. The V6 as you can see above is very straight forward.

 

I have read Rock's DYI but he did not remove and reinstall the symposer to it's original state after changing the fluid.

 

It can be done as DIY. I removed the Symposer, as I just felt it was a waste, and made it a little more difficult. It is a bit tricky to get to all of the bolts for the Symposer, but you can do it, and just pull it back out of the way to access the fill hole. Mostly effort and patience, not that difficult really.
