Actually vision is fine. Not sure if I've gotten used to it but no, I am not relying on my camera alone to see behind me.

That's a very good question and I took my car out last night specifically to explore that query with your question in mind.

The visions fine.

They are not. Standard gunmetal alloys with the British design edition.

Yea i looked again later and saw they were the gun metal blades. That blue with the whole carbon set would be killer.

I looked up the Jag Accessories and really like the Union Jack center cap that matches the logo as well. The carbon mirrors, is it just a cap that fits over the existing mirrors? The description was a little vague. I'm sure the vents are swapped out completely? I agree it would really set the car off.

Congrats and welcome to the F Type. Mine is my second Jag. The first was a 98 XJR that we had for 9 years (2003-2012). I also have a Corvette convertible (2006) that I bought new. It's been modified and puts down 650hp.

Stunning! I have a 2016 Vert Type R in ultimate Black. I've been considering a wrap close to that same color (Porsche Voodoo Blue).

@Tally Ho thanks, I saw in a post you purchased your Jag in Mobile. I purchased mine there as well. @Rogue R yes the color is what initially sold me on the Jag then I drove it and said hell yeah!!

Actually I did the initial test drive in Mobile but we couldn't work a deal on my trade in (2007 F430) so I ended up buying at Jaguar Palm Beach. I do get my servicing done in Mobile. I've known Jonathan for a few years and he takes care of everything I need.

Default Tally...

I am considering trading my coupe for a vert. Whats your opinion on this idea?

I ask because you are one of the few that I've noticed with the Vert R.

Have you ever had any wishes of having a coupe? I just don't want to regret it should I pull the trigger.

I am leaning towards keeping and enjoying my car but if the right situation came along I may consider it.

I do not even drive my F Type unless I plan to put the top down. However, I live in Northern California and I can put the top down almost every day. I have NEVER longed for a Coupe, although I do believe that it is slightly better looking. But nothing beats the top down experience for me. The open sky...the awesome exhaust...

If you choose to leave the top up, it is very quiet. Also seems very confined in comparison to the open air experience.

My test drive was in an R coupe. I had test driven a 2014 S V8 convertible prior. The coupe was never a consideration. My last four Corvettes have all been convertibles. My F430 would have been a spider but I didn't like the way it looked with the top up nor was I willing to pay that kind of money for a plastic rear window. No regrets with the convertible at all. I live in Florida so if it's above 60* and not raining, the top is down.
