Just turned 1200 miles this morning. All was normal going to and from tennis but after running one errand no back up picture when mt was in reverse just a dark screen. Went through the menues and got a dark screen when pressing the camera soft button. Shut off car and restarted with same result. Anyone have any ideas?

 

That's been reported here before, but it's been awhile. I don't recall for sure, but for at least one member, it was either a head-unit or connector problem.

I believe his problem, as well as others were intermittent. Sometimes the camera worked and other times, not.

 

Thanks Foosh. I found the thread and it looks like it was one individual who required a software update. I'll contact the dealer.
