Default Flashing Red Light When Parked & Locked

Just started tonight - after 1 week of ownership.

I have both factory keys

2021 P300

Dunno what changed, but this is definitely something new.

There's no icon - just a flashing red light on the RH side of the instrument cluster. (LHD USA model)

Security system ?

Went through the owners manual - didn't see anything

Hope she starts in the AM !

BEST !

With my 2016 there's a blinky red light indicating the alarm is on.

Whenever I plug in my CTEK unit and lock the car because I'm not going to drive it for a few days, I always glance through the window at the dash to make sure that red alarm light is blinking. The car is garaged so it's not so much for security reasons, but I seem to recall that when the car is locked there is less parasitic drain upon the battery and that seems to be the prudent way to have it sitting while the CTEK unit is doing its thing.

And what is even more interesting is that the pulsations are those of a jaguar (animal) at rest (!). These details form part of the reason that Jaguars (the cars) are so addictive. Another tiny item I love is the minuscule JAGUAR on the vent controls.
