Default Fresh off the truck

Yesterday was a good day,
My 2024 R-Dynamic RWD convert arrived at the dealer. They partially unwrapped it to verify the options and such. I traded in my 2014 V8S convert and completed the paperwork. The car will be prepped tomorrow and I'll take delivery Tuesday.
The order process went smoothly:
After confirming build slot (I was lucky, my dealer had 1 slot left in a 4 dealer group and I had already built the car online) and ordered Jan 16th, some weeks later received build date of March 31 and delivery of June 9th. Car arrived 6 days early.
I added 3 options of BRG paint, red brake calipers and wind deflector and didn't feel the need to option anything else as the 2024's are pretty much loaded up.
MSRP came to $83,175 including destination. There was no negotiating MSRP because I ordered the car. After adjustments of trade-in, sale tax and deposit out the door was $58,165 and I truly cannot complain about paying that price with a 5 year warranty and 5 year maintenance included for an R.
Can't wait to go for a drive.
Cheers and be safe out there.
Jim

Those are the new aerodynamic wheel covers like they put on some electric cars. Guaranteed to give you an extra .001 MPG.
Just kidding, that's a good looking F Type. And owning a BRG 2021 myself, I have to compliment you on your choice of color. You will get a lot of positive comments about it, there aren't many new cars available in green these days and the metallic paint is really stunning.

I didn't think you could get an R-Dynamic V8, I thought it was R (575 PS) or P450 only.
Also no badges on the rear bumper, did you specify that?

Well, I’m confused, though I haven’t kept up with the latest model years. RWD, R-Dynamic, and the price make me think V6. Quad exhaust pipes make me think V8.

Beautiful car regardless!

Rear badges no longer supplied by factory, there is a R-Dynamic badge on the front grill. Yes on the V8.

So it seems they have rebadged the P450 as R-Dynamic or 75 depending on spec and deleted the rear badges.
I'm guessing the P450 badge caused too much confusion for the punters as maybe one in a thousand non-Jag fans would have the foggiest idea what it meant (rated power in PS), much easier just to go with R-Dynamic. But what about the 75, does that get a 75 badge front or rear?? Probably not as again maybe one in a thousand would know it means 75 years of Jaguars.
I wonder if the R still gets an R badge on the rear, or an AWD (either R-Dynamic or R) gets an AWD badge on the rear?

My dealer has a 75 AWD on the floor with no front or rear badges tho rear deck as badges...disappointing that Jag couldn't even come up with a 75 anniversary badge. No idea about 75 R badge.

I left the rear badges off my 2021 R-dynamic.
IMO it looks much cleaner without them.
Just has the leaper on the trunk lid, and an "R-Dynamic" badge on the grill
Also has a shout-out on the license plate JAGWAH !!

The AWD badge was dropped from MY18 I believe (mine doesn't have one).

For 2024 P450s, the R-Dynamic moniker was allocated to RWD models only. AWD models are just known as the 75. P575s are known as the R75 now.

The reason cited by JLR for changing up the naming conventions from the original S/R/SVR was to simplify the lineup for customers but imo they've made it much more complicated lol
