Default Fueling/larger injectors with pulley upgrades

I’m new to Jaguars but not supercharged v8’s. On supercharged ZL1’s and Z06 most of the vendors recommend larger injectors when changing pulleys upper, lower or both. It seems the Jaguar kits don’t go with larger injectors. I’m curious about that and I’m trying to learn more about the Jag. Any insight would be great, thanks.

I have not seen bigger injectors for Jaguar?
Not sure we are pushing anywhere near the power those ZL1's and Z06's are either. So maybe none of the modified Jaguars have approached the power levels where you need bigger injectors?

One thing that's real obvious is on American muscle cars they usually go to bigger fuel pumps first before adding larger injectors because the bigger injectors don't help if you can't keep the fuel rail pressure up to feed them.
I have not seen any upgraded fuel pumps either and I think at high power levels this will be required.

Now since your new we just found out that the aftermarket has released a TVS2300 to replace the stock TVS1900 SC. This looks to be a game changer! None installed yet and it was a complete surprise as there is a real lack of performance modifications in the aftermarket. It appears VAP will release a kit with their pulley and tuning included. Not sure how much power we will see but this is the type of mod we needed!

Thanks for the reply. It does seem like there is very limited aftermarket performance products for jaguars. I’ve owned a few ZL1’s and Z06’s and did pulley kits, injectors and tune. The fuel pumps are able to keep up until you start making really big power. It will be fun to see what the TVS2300 kit does.

VAP has discussed the need
for higher flow fuel pumps (and possibly larger injectors) to run e85 on the 5.0.

For bolt ons (pulleys & tuning on pump fuel) you do not need any upgraded fuel system components. Still enough pressure & duty cycle with plenty of headroom.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I wondered if the injectors were nearing the max when changing out pulleys with a tune. I'm looking forward to more details about your TVS2300
