Default Bosch Injectors 0280150035 vs. 0280150023

I just cleaned up my parts storage, ordered clear organizer boxes from Amazon, and sorted all my pre-HE injectors.
I found all 30 of my Bosch 0280150035 injectors as I had hoped for. So I think I should have enough of those until 2050. :-)
But I also found a dozen neatly packaged Bosch 0280150023 injectors with no recollection where I got them from.

Does anyone know when they used Bosch 0280150023 injectors in the XJ-S? Google is all over the place.

Thanks,

Andy

P.S.: Ignore the brown ones. Those are a separate mystery.

Are those the green injectors? they were used on Pre HE cars so any Jaguar from 1975-1980 that has a V12
Also used on the Mercedes W114 250CE and 280E and CE.

Both, 035 and 023 are dark green. Just not sure when the 023s came into the picture. In 1975 they installed 035s.

The parts probably interchange. Bosch does that a lot. The ones I have are 035's, they were removed from my 71 Mercedes Benz 250CE. I'll check what's on my 75 V12 next time I head out there.

Andy,

Are the numbers stamped on the injectors? I have all of the injectors out of my 79 pre-HE and will be with the car in next few days. If you tell me how to identify them, I'll check mine for you.

If all else fails give a shout to David:

https://www.jaguarfuelinjectorservice.com/

He's likely seen more Jag injectors than anyone one earth!

Cheers

Hi Andy (and all),

I know this is a really old post, but on the off chance anyone is still following or happens to read this later I thought I’d reply.

I’m currently restoring a 1971 Mercedes 250 CE (M114, D-Jetronic) and discovered that my car had the wrong injectors fitted when I bought it (0280150036), which sent me down the Bosch D-Jet rabbit hole.

From what I’ve been able to gather, the 0280150023 injectors weren’t factory-fitted to the 250ce,

If anyone here happens to have 0280150023 injectors sitting unused and would consider a swap (for 0280150036) or sale , I’d be very interested.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Damion
