my car starts to make more and more noise… it is ticking and rattling out of the engine bay. I already removed the supercharger belt butit is still there.
My guess is timing chain(s).
If so mucho $ to fix.
i guess, better timing chains than rod or piston bearings?
With connecting rods or piston bearings, the noise should become louder when the rpm increases, right?

Both very expensive to fix but on these engines spun rod bearings usually means new engine time while timing chains can be fixed without scrapping the engine.
Both will become louder with increased rpm, rod bearings a deeper and more rhythmical sound while timing chains will be higher pitched and more erratic.
Few if any reports of camshaft problems/noise on this engine and a few reports of tappet/lifter "rattle". That could be your noise but I doubt it.
If a timing chain is loose or maybe even broken then the timing will be out far enough to cause pistons to hit valves and that could be the cause of the noise.
If so the engine is toast!

i just had an engine test with compression test and combustion chamber endoscopy carried out. Both looked very good.
if a valve is bend or damaged, it would be visible, right?
Compression test would indicate if there is a bent valve.
Remove the accessories drive belt as well to eliminate the other components at the front of the engine to see if the noise stops or changes.
How many kilometres are showing on the instrument cluster?
Yep, should have thought of that.
Most of us are quick to jump to a guess that any loud serious sounding noise from the engine bay is caused by some fault with internal engine part(s) but we often overlook the simple things like the ancillaries and their pulleys, belts and tensioners.
A stuffed AC compressor or alternator bearing can make a helluva racket!
I honestly do not know these engines that well yet. Do we have a timing chain tensioner? MINI had a hydraulic chain tensioner that would wear/fail and the chain would rattle like that.
looks like we do. Not saying that is the issue but possible one of many potential issues.
