Had to make a tough choice when my slot came up for a C8 Z06.
I had been on a waiting list for nearly 4 years. I bought my FType in March 2022. I have since retired, moved, and so cannot afford both cars as I have a GT350 Shelby that’s a keeper for life. So, I traded in the FType for a Corvette C8 Eray as the dealer did not have any C8 Z06 allocations and looming price hikes were a factor as well. They had a C8 Corvette Eray which is also AWD and is an all weather car…we got so spoiled with the FType AWD and its snow prowess, that we opted to take the Eray as the Eray was an easy transition. The only difference is power, 655 vs 450ish, and the Eray is a coupe not a convertible.
Summer tires for the FType will list soon.
Maybe one day I will return to get a used FType as it is an unbelievable fun car and never gave me any problems. I live in Michigan now,
I wish all in this community happy motoring and safe travels. I will never forget my great and fun times with the FType and this community.
so AWD is ideal.

I was looking at the ERAY for longest time before I chose the F-Type. Both have AWD but my wife and I agreed the F-Type will hold its looks for much longer. Also, the FOMO of the F-Type in its last year was a purchase factor for me too, lol. If the F-Type wasn't an option I probably would have bought a ERAY.
Nice looking Vette. I looked hard at a C8 for a long while until my British son-in-law suggested I look at an F-type. My wife still has her C7 manual convertible Vette though so we have best of both worlds.
Get on the Corvette forum, those guys will be a great help to you on your C8.
I’m curious to see what it’s gonna cost the owners of these newer Corvettes once they start breaking, as all cars will. These newer Corvettes seem to be pretty complicated machines these days, especially the E-Ray. I have a feeling some of the repair costs on those things will be eye watering, in a way that is very different from previous Corvette ownership.
I am the IT Director for the division that makes SunTek PPF. Your choice in PPF is disappointing (they are also eating our lunch right now, so I'm not surprised)!
