Default Got an incredible deal for an 2017 SVR!

I just got an incredible quote for a demo SVR for a whopping $900 a month no down payment!

I'm pretty excited right now. I've put down a deposit and will fly over there next weekend to finalize the deal.

I'm just so scared the deal might fall through or something. It seems so low compared to everything else I've been looking at.

Sounds like a great price. Best of luck and welcome to the pride.

Which raises the question, what is the collective noun for a group of jaguars?
A quick web search brings up leap, prowl, shadow and jamboree, but no generally agreed term and no "pride" (which is a group of lions).
I vote for prowl!

Well as the logo gets called "the leaper" - maybe a leap of Jaguar owners ?

Mystic - fantastic and good luck.

Depreciation on new purchase would exceed that amount so yes it makes sense financially 100%.

I've heard jamboree, as well, but answers.com and jcna.com both show pride. I guess, since the cats don't actually tend to socialize in groups, they never settled on a group name.

Lance has educated me (what's new?) - a group of cats is called a clowder or a glaring.

A howling would be more appropriate for our cats.

While technically it pertains to birds, but what about a flock of F-Types?

Or should I go flock myself?

P.S. Good luck Mystic!

Sounds like you were able to grab one of those few $90K SVRs out there AND were able to get the dealer to do it on a lease. None of the three $89K SVRs that were listed here recently were willing to do a lease that those price points. Congrats!

Congrats! I know the feeling of getting an awesome deal, but having to fly somewhere to get it. It's pretty stressful! What if someone else comes in and offers more, right? Dealers aren't exactly known for professional conduct... Good luck! I really hope it works out, even if you got the one that I was hoping to get

And do post details so the rest of us still looking can have a reference deal!
edit: post details after you get the car... you don't want to jinx it

Pretty sure a gathering of F-Types is called a Thunderstorm, or a Gun Show, or, in certain parts of the world, simply the Fourth of July

I got the same deal last month! Sticker originally $133K. I lowered the miles from 10K to 7.5K (have a Range Rover Autobiography for winter/trips with kids) and got another $50/month off.

Absolutely love this car. Taking it to the track Friday.

That really is an incredible deal. I wonder if that is becoming the norm now.
