On the positive they look great! The body roll is virtually eliminated and that will contribute to slightly more wheel spin in a strait line hard launch with less of it being "absorbed" in the chassis. i don't have the base suspension so my opinion is based on my V8S with active suspension.
Interesting. I must admit that I do not know the difference between base and dynamic suspension just yet. I haven't done any research as to whether it's a magnetic suspension etc. but do know there's a difference between the dampers. I've also read that the H&R's do outwork the dampers when not in dynamic mode, hence me really searching for those with non-dynamic dampers.

Thanks for the insight!

No, I have the S with the adjustable dampers. And yes, the dampers in standard mode are over worked by the H&Rs. That issue went away when the much lighter Wortec rotors were installed. (I haven't quite got my brain around why that would be the case). The adjustable dampers are not magnetic. I believe they have simple valves that affect oil flow.

This thread piqued my curiosity about what my base model would look like lowered, so I asked both my ex wives to sit in it while I viewed the car from different angles. Turns out I like things just the way they are, not with the wheel well liners pressing down on the tires.

Eibach springs installed along with 15mm spacers. Still a slight rake, but overall, really happy with the height.

Smaller bumps are slightly harsher. Almost as though a bit rougher around the edges, but that's to be accepted with a lowering spring so I'm still overall very satisfied. Due to the mild drop, I'm not noticing any pogo affect which I was previously afraid of either as it seems the damper still has a decent amount of travel.

old thread, but I’ve got springs going on this week so its time for some Q&A.

Do these cars require any reprogramming from the dealer after lowering? Got me concerned about the active suspension and DSC sensors now.

Any tips for the install? I know you’re supposed to transfer all the stock rubber spring pads to prevent rattling. Anything else? Do you have to drop the rear axle?

Thanks

Not that I know of.

Yup, transfer all stock rubber pads and spring isolators. Other than that, it's a very straight forward install. No dropping of the rear axle needed.

Thanks

Was it this set you used for your car https://www.tunershop.co.uk/eibach-p...ar-f-type.html

Here’s my V6 340 lowered on VAP (22mm) Springs & 15mm H&R Spacers. Wheel alignment was setup & adjusted to suit. It drives perfectly with absolutely no adverse effect...

I believe they only make one part number for the V6 springs.

https://eibach.com/us/i-7871-pro-kit...4-springs.html

Do some shopping around though. They can be had for much cheaper than $600.
