head light bulb
IMHO the best way is to remove the headlight assembly from the car.
It can be done with the headlight assembly in place but it's more difficult to access the bulb that way and you can't easily see what you are doing, so easier to stuff it up.
Removing the headlight assembly takes a bit longer but it's fairly easy and straightforward, two bolts on the top and one on the side up in the wheel well behind a little cover. I think, IIRC, that it helps to remove the three bumper cover bolts across the top on that side (under the edge of the hood) so you can pull the bumper cover out just enough to wiggle the assembly out.
I say this coz I have done it both ways, the first time with the headlight assembly in place and the second time with it removed, and I prefer the second way.
Either way you need to remove the round plastic dust cover on the back of the assembly, no biggie it just pulls off, and then you need to unlock the plastic locking ring which holds the bulb in place, you twist/turn it about 60 degrees (but I forget which way!) then it springs open and you can pull the bulb out.
Also you need to remove the wire from the bulb which can be a PITA, I found I needed to lever/pry it off with a small flat blade screwdriver, another thing I found easier to do with the assembly removed from the car.
If you want to try doing it with the headlight assembly in place you will need to unbolt, loosen and move out the way the fuse box / charging terminal contraption which sits immediately behind the headlight assembly.
