Default High speed SUV

I guess you do not need an F-Type to do 170mph !!

If he'd had an F-Pace, he might have gotten away. SVR top speed 178.

If you read through the article it said he was exceeding 178 mph. Hard to out run a radio.
"reaching speeds exceeding 178mph along Florida’s turnpike and parts of I95"

I know what you mean.....

And the worst part of these deals, is that the driver almost never, has any real diving skills, and winds up injuring/killing innocent people.

He was lucky as they also posted he was clocked at +150mph WITHOUT the headlights on!!
It was great that they got him stopped and arrested without any other people getting hurt or killed but that was just pure luck.

I agree. If I understood the attached article, correctly, they used "stop sticks" on the guy.......when he was doing 150MPH?? Isn't that a little risky? And I don't mean for the perp, to hell with him. But at that speed, 4 flat tires on a vehicle with the driver's skills unknown, can put a lot of innocent people in danger.....

My mom's GLC43 is rock solid above 100mph. Actually, you feel the speed much less than in my F-Type because of better road noise and insulation, and the air suspension soaking up small bumps better. That vehicle is limited to 155mph, but modern sport SUV's are actually very impressive.
